President of Russia Vladimir Putin said that he offered his plan for settlement of the crisis in Ukraine.
He said this in Mongolia, September 3, answering questions about the contents of a telephone conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko, ITAR-TASS reports.
According to Putin, the plan consists of seven points.
“In order to stop the bloodshed and stabilize the situation in southeastern Ukraine, I believe that the opposing parties must immediately agree and coordinate the following actions,” Putin said.
The first he called “cessation of active offensive operations of the militants’ armed formations in the southeast of Ukraine in Donetsk and Luhansk areas.”
All seven points are listed in the report of the Russian agency.
