Putin granted Russian citizenship to Yanukovych, Azarov and Pshonka – Interior Ministry

Russian President Vladimir Putin has granted Russian citizenship to former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, former Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and former Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka.
The Ukrainian interior minister’s advisor, Anton Herashchenko, reported this on his page on Facebook.
“I learned from operational sources that nationality to Ukraine’s betrayers had been granted under a separate secret decree of Russian President Putin as a reward for their faithful service on the collapse of the national security, defense, law and order system and the economy,” Herashchenko wrote.
Earlier media reported that the family of former Ukrainian Prime Minister and Party of Regions leader Mykola Azarov had purchased an estate in a luxury cottage village near Moscow.
The ex-president’s son, Oleksandr Yanukovych, registered Arsenal-Invest, a company engaged in real estate and consulting, in St. Petersburg.
