In particular, during the meeting, they noted that the Ukrainian people would be happy to welcome King Charles III to our country in the future.

“Today the world paid their last respects to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We had the honor with First Lady Olena Zelenska to be present on behalf of Ukraine at the state funeral procession in London and to express support from all Ukrainians to the United Kingdom and the peoples of the Commonwealth.”

The Prime Minister added that Ukraine was proud to have such friends who resolutely extended a helping hand to our state in the most difficult times.

“Queen Elizabeth II once said: “When life seems hard, brave people don’t give up or admit defeat. They begin to fight even more decisive for a better future.” This quote vividly characterizes Her Majesty’s reign and the allied efforts they are making for our victory.”
