Prices of industrial products rise by 4% in March

The prices set by Ukraine`s industrial producers in March 2016 rose by 4%, compared to February 2016, according to the State Statistics Service.

As reported on the statistics agency`s website, the industrial products` prices jumped 10.5% in March year-over-year, while compared to December 2015, they rose 4.4%.

Pricing in the mining and quarrying increased by 7.7% in March against February,  including in the extraction of coal – by 17.2%, crude oil – by 12.8%, metal ores – by 8.9%.

The report notes that the stats exclude data from occupied Crimea and Sevastopol, as well as part of the zone of the Anti-Terrorist operation.

A UaPosition reported earlier, the prices of Ukraine`s industrial producers in 2015 (December 2015 to December 2014) increased by 25.4%. Prices as of December 2015 rose 0.3% compared to November 2015.
