President says how he will save hryvnia

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko assured that he would do everything possible to prevent a further fall of the hryvnia.
He said this at a press conference in Kyiv, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Everyone has to do one’s job in order to save the country. Preservation of the national currency is also a way to protect the state and Ukrainian citizens … I assure you I will do everything I can within the law to stop the attack on the hryvnia, to stop speculation, to stop panic, including through the origins of black traders who put unexisting quotes, in order to return the hryvnia stability,” the President promised.
To do this, he said, it is not enough just to call a meeting, a package of reforms must be carried out.
According to the President, we must first end the war in Donbas, and then build the investment climate and attract investments. In addition, it is necessary to revise the IMF program, which was designed for the peacetime, and get macro-financial assistance in the amount of EUR 1 billion from the EU and USD 1 billion of financial guarantees or loans from the United States.
