The President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen noted on Twitter on February 9, 2023, that the President of Ukraine arrived in Brussels to speak at a meeting of the European Parliament.

“Welcome to Brussels, dear Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The heart of the European family, in which Ukraine belongs. We will support Ukraine every step of the way towards our Union,” tweeted Ursula von der Leyen.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy will address the European Parliament. According to journalists, Volodymyr Zelenskyy will list the weapons needed for the liberation of Ukraine during his speech. And he will also talk about holding Russia accountable for aggression and war crimes, as well as prospects for Ukraine’s accession to the EU.

After that, Volodymyr Zelenskyy will take part in a special meeting of the European Council, where the first item on the agenda will be the assistance to Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression. The President of Ukraine will also hold a number of meetings with European leaders.
