Poroshenko says he knows nothing about 1,000 soldiers killed near Ilovaisk

FSB lies about 1,000 soldiers killed near Ilovaisk should be returned to the Kremlin, as they were spread to discredit the Ukrainian army and its commanders.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said this at a briefing in Lviv on Friday, while commenting on significant losses in the east of Ukraine, Ukrinform’s correspondent reported.
“I know nothing about 1,000 people killed near Ilovaisk. We have data on 967 people killed since the beginning of the patriotic war of 2014 from all units – the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, border guards and the Security Service of Ukraine. Hand over these FSB lies to the Kremlin, which launched them to discredit Ukraine,” Poroshenko said.
Speaking to journalists, he said: “Do not neglect the memory of those killed with numbers. Each of them has a mother, father, and relatives. Let Russia calculate its own losses, and they are amazing. Keep confidence in the army, now it has received an unprecedented 60% vote of confidence from Ukrainians. It should not be destroyed by myths that are spread by the enemy.”
Poroshenko, during his visit to the city, presented awards to the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) heroes who study at the Army Academy named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny, presented the Strategy 2020 program for the development and reform of the country, and visited an armored plant, which produces new models of military hardware.
