Poroshenko: Russia actually deployed its troops in Ukraine

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has canceled his visit to Turkey due to the actual deployment by Russia of its troops in Ukraine.
This is stated in a video address of the head of state, which was posted on his page on Facebook.
“Today, due to the sharp worsening of the situation in the south of Donetsk region, in the center, near Amvrosiyivka and Starobesheve, due to the actual deployment of Russian troops on Ukrainian territory, I have decided to cancel my visit to Turkey, despite the fact that seven important bilateral meetings were planned there, which Ukraine badly needs. The Ukrainian president’s place today is in Kyiv,” he said.
He said that today he would convene a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council to draw up further action plans in the situation that has changed.
He also said that Ukraine would initiate a meeting of the UN Security Council, at which “the world should discuss the sharp deterioration of the situation in Ukraine.”
“I turned to our partner countries of the European Union to convene an extraordinary meeting of the Council of the European Union, where we should immediately discuss the situation in Ukraine,” Poroshenko said.
