Poland to help Ukrainian army

The Polish Ministry of National Defense will transfer humanitarian aid to Ukrainian military. The first part of the planned 320 tonnes will be passed next week.
The ministry’s press spokesman, Jacek Sonta, said this in a statement posted on the ministry’s website.
“Ukrainian soldiers will get, among other things, food, mattresses and blankets. Realization of the aid will be based on a protocol signed between the defense ministries of both countries,” reads the statement.
As reported, according to an agreement signed in 1993 between the Ukrainian and Polish defense ministries, the two countries’ ministries interact in strengthening confidence and promoting actions that ensure security and peace in Europe.
