“Since May 2022, Ukraine has received 80 shipments of humanitarian aid for the energy sector from Poland. This amounts to around 1,500 tonnes of equipment. In the last week alone, 12 cargoes have arrived, weighing a total of 174 tonnes,” said the Government of Ukraine.

The equipment includes generators and transformers as well as insulators, reinforced concrete poles, cables, emergency power supply systems, disconnectors, and other materials for repairs.

“All types of materials supplied by Polish partners are being used by Ukrainian power engineers to restore the facilities affected by Russian attacks as quickly as possible. The work of the rescEU logistics hub in Poland, which accumulates humanitarian aid from all over Europe and quickly delivers it to Ukraine, is very important. We are grateful to Poland for this support,” said the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Halushchenko.
