“We are going to send Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. We will be in touch with the German government about it. But regardless of the decision of other countries, we are more determined to deliver these tanks as promised,” tweeted Polish Foreign Minister.

On January 11, Polish President Andrzej Duda promised to provide Ukraine with a company of German Leopard 2 tanks.

Already on January 13, it became known that five European countries that are armed with Leopard 2 are ready to transfer a certain number of tanks to Ukraine.

Earlier, the head of the German Foreign Ministry, Annalena Baerbock, stated that Germany would not oppose Poland’s desire to supply Ukraine with Leopard tanks.
