Poland has already handed over PT-91 Twardy tanks to Ukraine, – Speaker of the Ministry of Defense of Poland

The Ministry of Defense of Poland confirmed the transfer of Polish tanks to the Ukrainian authorities.

According to him, Polish PT-91 Twardy tanks, protected by ERAWA armor, should already be delivered to the territory of Ukraine. However, their exact number is not disclosed.

Earlier, there was information that our Armed Forces will receive more than 200 combat vehicles. In addition, a video has recently appeared in the network about how an echelon of PT-91 Twardy was moving on the railroad towards the Ukrainian border.

To replace these tanks, Poland will purchase equipment from South Korea. He added that the shortage of more than 200 T-72 tanks and a certain number of PT-91 tanks will be covered with a surplus of higher-quality tanks. Deliveries are planned for 2022-2026.
