Russian military forces residents of Enerhodar to vote in a Russian pseudo-referendum, and those who refuse are threatened with mobilization.

It is also emphasized that the streets of the city are practically empty – the local population tries not to go out without an urgent need.

“There are patrols of the military from the Russian Federation with voting forms for the so-called “referendum” on the streets. Weapons are pointed at all onlookers, “ballots” are issued and they are told exactly where to put a “tick”. Rare cases of coercion to vote instead of long-dead relatives have been recorded. All those who dared to “vote” against joining Russia are threatened with “mobilization,” the intelligence agency notes.

In addition, special control is applied to workers on operational shifts of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant located in the city.
