Panama Papers: Putin says info on offshore companies authentic

Russian President Vladimir Putin has confirmed that the information about offshore from the Panama Papers is authentic, an UNIAN correspondent reported.
Speaking during the Q&A marathon, Putin said that the authors of the offshore investigations did not directly accuse anyone, but made opaque suggestions.
According to Putin, it was the lawyers, not the journalists, who conducted investigations.
The Russian president argues that ”agents of the U.S. official institutions” are involved in the publication of documents on the offshore companies. German newspaper Suddeutsche Zeitung, which received Panama Papers from an unknown source, according to Putin, is part of the media holding owned by Americans. ”The customer`s ears stick out from everywhere,” the Russian president said.
Putin has reiterated that his friend Sergey Roldugin, who has offshore companies, spends all his money on the purchase of musical instruments. According to the President, Roldugin he spent even more money than he had, and still owes money to some structures through which he bought musical instruments.
