“In general, we recorded more than 300 facts that belong precisely to the definition of genocide. We questioned more than 2,000 of our people who, as a result of hostilities, were forced to leave the territory of Ukraine or their place of residence,” said the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

According to Andriy Kostin, about 300 Russian prisoners of war were also interrogated and asked, in particular, about how they understand the concept of “denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine”which Russia often uses.

“Five genocide proceedings are currently being investigated. Among them is the main proceeding on the fact of the genocide of the Ukrainian people. Russian propagandists’ actions are examples of the ideological basis of the genocide. There are names of those who followed the instructions of Putin and his propagandists directly in this case,” concluded the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
