OSCE employee reportedly illegally held in Donetsk

OSCE`s Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine has information that its employee missed in Luhansk region may be held in Donetsk.
”The OSCE SMM can confirm that one of our local staff in Luhansk region did not return from leave as planned, on June 7. The police was informed,” reads a statement of OSCE SMM published on the mission`s Facebook page.
”We understand that he is reportedly held in Donetsk. We are in contact with the relevant actors to resolve this matter. We have demanded his immediate and unconditional release,” the SMM says.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko called on international human rights organizations to pay attention to the conditions of detention of Ukrainian POWs in the occupied territory of Donbas.
