Washington – US President Barack Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel agree that sanctions on Russia cannot be eased until Moscow upholds a peace deal on Ukraine, the White House says.In a phone call, the leaders called for the “full and prompt implementation” of agreements reached in Minsk in recent months aimed at resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
