Normandy Four to possibly meet in October: French FM

Several days after the French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault visited Ukraine, he raised certain hopes that the negotiations on the Donbas conflict will continue in the nearest future, Ukraine Today reported.

The latest ceasefire, the withdrawal of troops and further political steps are expected to top the agenda of the meeting, according to Ukraine Today.

”I hope we can achieve all this at the summit, which will hopefully be held in October by President Hollande, Chancellor Merkel, President Poroshenko and President Putin,” Ayrault said, according to French Foreign Affairs Ministry.

He also reiterated his support for Ukraine and its territorial integrity.
