Netherlands sent a team to Ukraine to investigate Russian war crimes for the third time

The Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands informed on April 28, 2023, that at the beginning of this week, a forensic and investigation team left for Ukraine for the third time to investigate war crimes.

“A forensic and investigation team (FO team) left for Ukraine at the beginning of this week to investigate war crimes,” reported the Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands.

This time a team will consist of approximately 60 people, including 9 Czech specialists. The group includes experts from the military police of the Netherlands and other units of the Ministry of Defense.

“The team’s duties are to investigate and secure evidence. This is done under the banner of the International Criminal Court (ICC),” added the Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands.

For the first time, the group of experts was in Ukraine in May last year. The second time it happened at the end of 2022. Evidence was collected and submitted to the International Criminal Court.
