“The Netherlands and Denmark deliver 14 Leopard 2A4 tanks to Ukraine. Together with other partners of the ‘tank coalition’, we are equipping Ukraine with modern main battle tanks that will enable it to resist Russian aggression now and in the future,” tweeted the Minister of Defense of the Netherlands.

The Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands notes that after major repairs, the main battle tanks will be sent to Ukraine as soon as possible.

“After overhaul, the main battle tanks go to Ukraine as soon as possible. That is probably in 2024. The Netherlands is part of the international tank coalition that supplies Ukraine with modern main battle tanks. The Netherlands previously bought Leopard-1 tanks with Denmark and Germany for Ukraine,” added the Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands.
