NBU is about to name the banks granted refinancing

The National Bank of Ukraine is about to make public the list of banks and the volume of refinancing granted to them.
This was stated by first deputy governor of the NBU Oleksandr Pisaruk at the round-table meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“Today we are going to finish all the reporting forms [to provide refinancing to banks], which will soon be made public on the NBU website … The information will appear in a day or two,” Pisaruk said.
According to him, the volume of refinancing granted by the regulator to the banking system has declined during the incumbency of the current NBU governor Valeria Hontareva.
As reported, the National Bank of Ukraine drafted the bill to exclude the information on obtaining refinancing from the list of bank secrecy.
