NBU cuts official exchange rate to UAH 26.25 to dollar

The National Bank of Ukraine on Thursday evening lowered the official hryvnia exchange rate by 24 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 26.25 to the dollar.

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for March 25:
$100 costs UAH 2,625.2159 (on March 24, it was UAH 2,601.5065);

EUR 100 costs UAH 2,928.1658 (on March 24, it was UAH 2,906.1429);

10 RUB costs UAH 3.8084 (on March 24, it was UAH 3.8461).
On Thursday, March 24, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 26.23/26.33 to the dollar.

Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 29.2720/29.3760, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.3770/0.3790.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 26.2522 to the dollar, with 567 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $334.72 million.
