NATO countries will provide Ukraine with more air defense systems, armored vehicles and ammunition

The website of NATO informed on March 15, 2023, that NATO allies are ready to supply Ukraine with more air defense systems, ammunition, as well as armored vehicles.

“NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg participated in a virtual meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group on Wednesday (15 March 2023), chaired by U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley. The discussion focused on the importance of sustaining and increasing support to Ukraine as the country continues to resist Russia’s brutal war of aggression,” reported the website of NATO.

During the meeting, the NATO leader spoke out about the Alliance’s efforts to provide Ukraine with key capabilities such as more air defense systems, armored vehicles and ammunition.

“Mr. Stoltenberg stressed that ongoing work to ramp up NATO’s defence industrial base is crucial for ensuring our own deterrence and defence, as well as providing support to Ukraine for as long as necessary,” added the website of NATO.
