The Prosecutor General of Ukraine claims that the killing of the civilian population of Ukraine is a deliberate strategy of Russia.

“As of today, we have registered more than 77,000 cases of war crimes. These are not only murders, humiliation and rape but also destruction of property, forced deportation and mass looting in the occupied territories,” explained the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

Ukraine has already notified 305 Russian soldiers suspected of having committed these crimes.

“There are already 150 indictments and 30 verdicts of Ukrainian courts regarding Russian war crimes committed on the territory of Ukraine,” added the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin.

Andriy Kostin believes that more than 99% of war crimes committed against Ukrainians by Russian troops will be investigated and tried in Ukraine.
