Missile and artillery units of the Ukrainian army completed 426 firing missions in south

Operational Command “South” noted that the Russian army lost 14 soldiers, three self-propelled artillery launchers, a howitzer “Msta-B”, and a radio-electronic warfare station in the south of Ukraine as of October 15, 2022.

Russian troops continued continuous aerial reconnaissance using unmanned aerial vehicles. Two Russian drones of Orlan-10 type were destroyed while trying to observe the successes of the Defense Forces of Ukraine on the right bank of the Dnieper River.

However, Ukrainian aviation inflicted 13 hits on Russian positions, in particular, on the deployment of air defense in the Beryslav and Kakhovka districts and concentrations of Russia’s manpower and equipment – in the Mykolaiv and Bashtan districts.

In addition, Ukrainian forces damaged eight units of Russian equipment, including two self-propelled guns and a 122-calibre howitzer, a tank and an armored vehicle.
