Russian-backed militants are equipping a fortified position near Vynohradnyky district, the southern outskirts of the town of Avdiyivka, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.
”On April 5, the units of the 11th separate motorized rifle regiment (Makiyivka) of the 1st Army Corps (Donetsk) of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation took up positions in the southern outskirts of Avdiyivka,” the intelligence said.
In addition, the militants are equipping a fortified position there, which is reinforced by two anti-tank missile systems.
