Lithuania and UK to convene UN Security Council meeting on situation in Ukraine

The UN Security Council may hold a meeting on the situation in Ukraine in January.
President of the Security Council Cristian Barros Melet said this, the official website of the United Nations reported in Twitter.
“In January, the UN Security Council may hold a meeting on the situation in Ukraine at the request of delegations of the United Kingdom and Lithuania,” the press service of the organization reported.
The UN Security Council last discussed the situation in Ukraine at an open meeting on November 12, 2014.
