Law enforcers take over 1,000 fosterlings from Donetsk region

Within Donetsk region, from areas temporarily controlled by terrorists, or in which combat operations are going on, 1,122 persons were temporarily relocated to boarding institutions in the territories, controlled by the security forces.
Spokesman of the NSDC Information-Analytical Center Andriy Lysenko told a briefing Wednesday.
“Work continues on resettlement of children from boarding institutions of Donetsk and Luhansk regions to residential care facilities in other regions of Ukraine. Also, 100 wards of the Donetsk residential care facility for the elderly were taken to residential care facilities of Kharkiv region,” he said.
In addition, according to Lysenko, steps were also taken to organize the removal of children – pupils of the children’s department of the Rovenky regional home for people with special needs and the Krasnodon regional orphanage in Luhansk region to boarding homes in other regions of Ukraine.
In July 28, wards and one pupil of boarding schools in Donetsk region have been transferred to care homes in other regions, he added.
