Kremlin says supports Poroshenko`s wish ”to return Donbas”

The Kremlin supports Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko`s wish ”to return Donbas” for humanitarian reasons but does not accept any claims on Crimea, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday, according to TASS.
”If he meant returning Donbas for humanitarian reasons, this statement can be supported,” said Peskov when asked by TASS how the Kremlin responded to Poroshenko`s statement he wants to bring back Crimea and Donetsk the way Nadia Savchenko had been brought.
”That`s what Moscow hopes for, he added.
”As for Crimea, we do not comment on claims regarding Russian regions,” Peskov said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko pledged to retake Russian-occupied Crimea and Donbas the same way captive pilot Nadia Savchenko had been returned to Ukraine.
