Klimkin started his working visit Netherlands over issues with Association Agreement ratification

On October 25 Ukraine`s Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin started his working visit to the Netherlands, according to the ministry`s press service.

The main purpose of the visit is to hold political talks with Dutch officials on completion of the ratification of the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement, the press service reports.

Ukraine`s top diplomat is set to meet with his counterpart Bert Koenders, President of the Senate Ankie Brukers-Knol, as well as leaders of political parties and parliamentary factions.

It is assumed that the Ukrainian minister will present Kyiv`s vision regarding the importance of completing the ratification process of the Association Agreement as an effective platform for the deepening of relations between Ukraine and the EU, as well as Ukrainian-Dutch bilateral cooperation, especially in trade and economic sphere, taking into account the benefits of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area, and strengthening across the continent the basic European values, due to which the European community has achieved economic power, peace, and prosperity.

A separate topic of negotiations will be the development of bilateral political dialogue and deepening cooperation within international organizations.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Verkhovna Rada October 19 called on the Netherlands to complete the ratification of the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement.
