Japanese company allocated $1M to provide Ukrainian educators and students with digital devices

The Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiy Shkarlet noted on December 26, 2022, that the Japanese company NTT Group1 had allocated one million dollars, and the funds would be used to provide educators and students of Ukraine with digital devices.

“International partners continue to support Ukraine. The leading Japanese company in the telecommunications business, NTT Group1, has allocated 1 million US dollars to support the digital educational environment of Ukraine,” said the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The funds will be distributed through the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and will be directed to providing educators and students with digital devices.

Serhiy Shkarlet expressed gratitude to Japanese partners for their support.

“Thanks to joint efforts, we create conditions for the continuation of our children’s education,” added the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine.
