According to the Supreme court’s decision, citizens of Ukraine will be able to enter Israel for three months without the need to submit a special request for this. This practice was introduced by the decision of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs after the start of the war in Ukraine.
“I welcome the decision of the Supreme Court of the State of Israel, obliging the government to lift any additional restrictions on the entry of citizens of Ukraine. The rule of law and respect for human rights is exactly what distinguishes a real, developed democracy!” – stressed the Head of the Ukrainian state.
Earlier, in mid-March, Israel suspended visa-free travel for Ukrainian citizens. Moreover, the state set a quota that allowed only 5,000 Ukrainians to enter the country.
