“Ukraine is fighting also our war, if it loses, we will be next and we will have to pay for it.”

The Minister thanked the countries that support Ukraine – the United States, Great Britain, Poland, the Baltic States, the Czech Republic, and the Scandinavian countries. At the same time, the politician noted that some countries were not doing their job well enough, and they could do better.

“There is no time. We are border countries and we are not ready to pay for meals of others.”

This week, Pabriks called on representatives of the US Congress to expand military support for Latvia by increasing the presence of armed forces in the region.
