90% of Ukrainians could be pushed into poverty, if the war drags on,- the UN

“9 out of 10 people in Ukraine could be pushed into poverty or near poverty due to the war, putting almost 2 decades of development gains at risk.”

The UN notes that the Russians have already caused $ 100 billion in damage to Ukraine’s infrastructure. At the same time, they warn that the real assessment of the situation may be 5-6 times higher.
