Half of Ukrainian clothing merchandise produced by Ukrainian enterprises was exported to European countries in 2014.
Chairman of the Board of Ukrainian clothes manufacturers Valentyna Izovit stated the news at the Committee of entrepreneurs of clothing manufacturing industry meeting, Ukrinform reports.
“We manufactured clothes products worth of about UAH 10 billion last year. We supplied 45-50% of the total merchandise volume mainly to European countries,” she said.
According to her, European countries willingly cooperate with Ukrainian manufacturing companies because they produce high-quality clothes.
