Government ready to allocate another billion for defense

The Cabinet is ready to allocate additionally UAH 1 billion for repairs of military technology.
Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said Friday, following a meeting at the Defense Ministry, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“As concerns financing, all necessary volumes are already covered by the government – an additional billion, which may be necessary for renewal of military technology we are ready to issue in the form of government guarantees,” Yatseniuk noted.
