Google has launched an update of service, Google Street View. Users of Google Street View now can set off on a virtual journey discovering Ukraine with the help of 360-degree panoramic images of the streets and significant sites, according to Ukraine Today.
The service was first launched in April 2012 for five Ukrainian cities. Since that time, the team of Google Street View put efforts to collect data – specially equipped vehicles have driven thousands of kilometers passing Ukrainian cities and towns, Ukraine Today reports.
The service can be available to anyone in the world who wants to find out more about Ukraine. Google Street View also provides opportunities for business, including travel agencies, restaurants and hotels. Google Maps can be installed for free at companies` websites. For tourists, the service is very useful, as it enables them to see in advance the exterior of their hotels.
The service allows you to explore Ukraine and helps to prepare in advance for the trip to an unknown city. The user will be able to create an itinerary, or find a location before visiting it. The service can also be used by people who are looking for accommodation, as they can see street view without visiting the location.
