Germany transferred more than 420 tons of energy equipment to Ukraine

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine noted on March 30, 2023, that Ukraine received power equipment with a total weight of 423 tons from German partners. The Energy Minister of Ukraine Herman Halushchenko said this during a meeting with Jörg Kukies, State Secretary of the Office of the Federal Chancellor of Germany.

“Ukraine has already received 55 shipments of humanitarian aid in the form of energy equipment with a total weight of 423 tons from German partners,” reported the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

Herman Halushchenko also emphasized the importance of the contribution of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund, created at the Secretariat of the Energy Community, in the amount of 129.5 million euros.

The parties also emphasized the importance of green transformation and getting rid of dependence on Russian energy resources, as well as discussed areas of cooperation in rebuilding the Ukrainian energy sector.
