Gazprom reduces personnel by 25%

Russian company Gazprom plans to reduce from 15% to 25% of its personnel. Interfax agency informs referring to the sources.
According to the agency’s interlocutors, the concern subdivisions were instructed to submit their proposals on the new staff list by the end of the current year and by the end of the next year they are planned to be implemented.
In 2013, the number of Gazprom personnel was 459,500. Last time, Gazprom held reduction of employees in 2008 – the number of its personnel was cut by 16%.
