As a result of a military clash with the pro-Russian militants in the area of Kruta Balka, a Ukrainian soldier was killed, according to the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation HQ.
”Yesterday, around 15:00, near the village of Kruta Balka, located in the Donetsk direction, a clash occurred between one of the units of the ATO forces and the militants of the Russian-terrorist forces. The battle lasted for about thirty minutes, and due to the coordinated actions of units of the ATO forces, the enemy was forced to retreat,” reads the statement.
Earlier ATO headquarters reported Russian activity in Donetsk direction. Russian occupation forces fired on the positions of the AFU from 120mm mortars and heavy machine guns in area of Luhanske. Grenade launchers were used in the shelling of Maiorske, while small arms were fired in the area of Troitske, Avdiyivka, Zaitseve, and Novoselivka Druha.
