“70% of the price increase in March was due to Putin’s price increase. I am doing everything possible to reduce prices and solve the problem of Putin’s price increase,” said the American leader.

Biden recalled that to help cope with the price rising, he authorized the release of 1 million barrels of oil a day for the next six months from the US Strategic Reserve, and more than 30 countries agreed to release an additional 60 million barrels, the largest release in history.

The White House said on April 12 that Biden would announce new steps to reduce prices and create long-term energy independence by increasing the availability of biofuels.
