The bridge connecting occupied Crimea to Russia was blown up and on fire: video

Serhiy Bratchuk, head of Odesa Regional State Administration said that a strong fire broke out on the railway branch of the Crimean bridge (which connects the occupied Ukrainian Crimea to Russia) in the morning on October 8, 2022.

“The fuel terminal is currently on fire. We are waiting for official information!”Serhiy Bratchuk wrote.

According to Russian mass media, there is a strong fire on the bridge and people are not allowed there. A fuel tank is on fire on the bridge. The shipping arches were not damaged.

Meanwhile, the Crimean Railway informs that a fuel tank caught fire in the back of a freight train.

“The locomotive with part of the wagons was brought to the Kerch station. Emergency work is underway. The causes of the incident are being established.”
