The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine expects that the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will discuss the Ukrainian issue, namely, the disbursement of a $1.7 billion tranche to the country, in June, Ukraine`s Deputy Finance Minister Yuriy Butsa told reporters.
”The Board meeting is not linked to the mission`s departure but to the fulfillment of the preconditions, which we have committed to comply with in June. Therefore, we hope that in June the [Executive] Board`s meeting will be held immediately after Ukraine has fulfilled all the requirements,” the deputy minister said.
