Today there is an outflow of the clergy and parishioners of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate to Kyiv Patriarchate, Patriarch of Kyiv and All-Ukraine Filaret told Channel 5 on Wednesday.
“The outflow of priests and parishioners from Moscow to Kyiv Patriarchate will be and is already taking place. It is small so far, but I think eventually there will be a large outflow,” he said.
“We will receive everyone, because we are a single Ukrainian church, divided by Moscow. We need to explain the clergy, the episcopate and the faithful that the church was not divided by Ukrainians, but by Moscow at the Kharkiv synod,” Filaret said.
