EU`s Official Journal publishes decision on visa-free travel for Ukraine

The Official Journal of the European Union on May 22 published a legislative act, according to which the citizens of Ukraine would get a visa-free regime from June 11, an UNIAN correspondent from Brussels has reported.

According to the document, Ukraine will be removed from the list of countries whose citizens are required to have a visa for crossing the border and will be included in the list of those countries to whose citizens this requirement does not apply.

The decision to introduce a visa-free regime between the EU and Ukraine will come into force 20 days after the publication.

As UNIAN reported, on May 17 the ceremony was held in European Parliament of signing a legislative act granting Ukrainian citizens a visa-free travel across the European Union.
