The Visa Working Party of the European Council today will consider the European Commission`s visa liberalization proposal for Ukraine.
”Indeed, there will be a meeting of the Visa Working Party. This is a preparatory meeting at expert level. After this the issue is expected to be discussed at the level of the Committee of Permanent Representatives (COREPER) next week,” the source in the European Council told an UNIAN correspondent earlier.
The European Council also said that Ukraine`s visa liberalization would be considered at ministerial level on May 20.
As UNIAN reported, the European Commission on April 20 announced that it had put forth a legislative proposal concerning visa-free travels for Ukrainians.
