Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Prodan held bilateral negotiations in Brussels with EU Energy Commissioner Guenther Oettinger.
As reported by UNIAN, the European Commission tries to reach a compromise in trilateral gas talks, however, a date of a new meeting has not been appointed yet.
“Today, the matter concerns adjustment of positions between Russia and Ukraine. The European Commission tries to reach a compromise,” the Minister said.
At the same time, Prodan noted that he does not consider that there is different understanding of compromise proposals by the parties, about which an agreement was reached September 26 during a trilateral meeting with participation of Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak in Berlin.
