“Our talks with the Prime Minister of Estonia Kaja Kallas are as always meaningful. We had time to discuss the whole range of issues that are important right now. First of all, our capabilities on the frontline,” wrote the President of Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine should receive all the necessary weapons as soon as possible so that it can speed up the liberation of territories occupied by Russia.

“I thank the Prime Minister and the entire Estonian people for their sincere and, most importantly, timely support for our defense. On a per capita basis, Estonia‘s defense assistance for us is one of the largest in the world,” added Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The both leaders also discussed the restoration of Ukraine. Estonia became the first country to begin the practical restoration of Ukraine, in particular, according to Kaja Kallas, Estonia was the first to become patron of the Zhytomyr region.

“The Zhytomyr region [the north of Ukraine – ed.] is a region where Estonia focuses on reconstruction, setting an example for the rest. The first stage we are doing here is a kindergarten in Ovruch, and it will be completed on June 1, 2023. I am very happy to announce that Estonia will take care of the second part of the kindergarten for another 80 children,” explained the Prime Minister of Estonia.
