Eastern Ukraine receives humanitarian aid from Kazakhstan

Humanitarian aid from Kazakhstan arrived last Saturday at the city of Severodonetsk located in Luhansk region, the government portal has reported.
“The shipping list for six train cars includes food such as almost 128,000 cans of meat, 40 tonnes of sugar, 150 tonnes of buckwheat, 36,000 liters of sunflower oil. Humanitarian aid for residents of Ukraine’s eastern regions who so desperately need support and assistance was dispatched personally by a representative of the committee for state material reserves at the ministry of national economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” the report says.
Eventually, humanitarian aid will be partially distributed in the parts of Luhansk region under Ukrainian government’s control. Besides, food delivery and distribution to Donetsk and Luhansk will be considered additionally.
