”DPR” militants defy withdrawal deal in Ukraine

The ”DPR” militants have stated that they return their armed groups to the previously-held positions, that`s according to Russia`s state-run TASS news agency referring to ”DPR” representative Eduard Basurin as saying.

”The Ukrainian side has disrupted the disengagement of forces in Petrivskiy,” Basurin said adding that the militants were moving back to the positions they held before.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the representative of the Ukrainian side to the JCCC Boris Kremenetskiy said the disengagement could not start because the militants had failed to ensure free access to the OSCE SMM and had not de-mined the area.

Kremenetskiy added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were performing mine clearance at all three areas of disengagement, with observation points for the OSCE and JCCC being set up.

The Ukrainian official said Zolote was the only area where the forces and hardware had been successfully withdrawn.
